Am I an International Applicant?

If you are not an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency in Australia then you will be classified as an International Applicant.

 

I am studying at another institution and would like to apply to study at SAIBT.

Please apply for a program at SAIBT following the application process. You will need to provide a 'release letter' from your current education provider before SAIBT is able to create your Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE).

I want to enquire about the status of my friend’s application?

SAIBT requires an email - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,  from the applicant authorising you to act on their behalf.  Once we have received this email you are able to ask about the status of your friend’s application via email.

I have received an offer, how do I accept?  

If you have a conditional offer letter you will need to meet your condition/s before you can accept your SAIBT Offer. The Letter of Offer provided to you are also the Acceptance Forms. Please complete and sign the Acceptance Forms and submit them to SAIBT with your tuition fees.

 

Do I need to pay Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)?

If you are on a Student Visa you must have OSHC. SAIBT are able to provide this service to you through Worldcare. However, if you prefer a use a different provider you will be required to arrange this individually.

I have accepted my offer, when will I receive my Confirmation of Enrolment (COE)?

Generally CoEs will take 24-48 hours to process however, during peak periods there may be some delays.

How do I defer my offer?

How do I decline/withdraw my offer?

If you no longer chose to study at SAIBT, please email our admissions team ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to notify us you wish to decline/withdraw your offer.

When can I enrol in my courses (subjects)?

During Orientation, SAIBT will provide you with Academic Counselling on your program and will then show you the steps on how to enrol online through our SAIBT Portal.

When and where is my orientation?

Details of dates and time for your Orientation will be provided to you once you have accepted your Letter of Offer. The first day of Orientation will be held at UniSA, City East Campus, Brookman Building.

What if I can’t attend orientation and need approval for late arrival?

You will need to email the SAIBT admissions office ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with the date you plan to arrive. They will be able to advise you if you are still able to commence your program with SAIBT and provide you with details of possible late orientation sessions.

How do I receive my student ID card?

During Orientation there will be a session for you to receive a student ID card through UniSA Campus Services.

How do I receive my OSHC card?

If you have chosen to have OSHC provided to you through SAIBT, you will receive the card during Orientation.

How do I apply for a refund of my fees? 

Please take time to read the SAIBT Fees, Cancellations and Refunds Policy to see if you are eligible to receive a refund. You will then need to complete the Application for Refund form and submit it to the Student Services Centre for processing.

I have been granted Permanent Residency – What should I do?

Please provide the Student Services Centre evidence that you have been granted Permanent Residency to update your records. You will need to be aware that you will no longer hold any SAIBT/UniSA Packages once you have gained Permanent Residency.
