AdelaideWhether you’re into arts, music, sports, outdoor activities, or simply spending time with friends shopping or eating out, there will always be something entertaining to do in Adelaide.

Adelaide is regarded as the food and wine capital of Australia, producing 50 per cent of Australia’s wine, and has more restaurants per head of population than any other major Australian city. Adelaide is also home to the largest fresh produce market in the Southern Hemisphere.

Music and cultural festivals and events are also popular with Adelaide hosting some of the world’s best including the Adelaide Festival of Arts, WOMADelaide and Adelaide Film Festival.

The city is a popular venue for international and national sporting events such as cricket at the Adelaide Oval, the Classic Adelaide car rally, and the Tour Down Under cycling race.

Rundle Mall, Adelaide’s most famous shopping precinct at over 500 meters long boasts department stores, boutiques and specialty shops as well as free live entertainment and an extensive range of food courts and dining venues. You can also enjoy the cinemas, design shops, wine bars, pubs, cafes and markets on offer along the eastern extension of the mall, Rundle Street.

The coastal suburb of Glenelg is only a 20 minute tram ride from the city centre and is an attractive tourist destination. Sandy beaches, seven-day shopping and an abundance of restaurants, cafés and bars are some of Glenelg’s main attractions.
